The New York Post reports that Andreia Schwartz, a Brazilian “Madam” has named a few high-powered executives to her list of “sugar daddies” in a scandal that’s rocking the Big Apple.
The thing that caught our cable-obsessed eye was that one of the horny honcho’s was allegedly Time Warner’s CFO, Wayne Pace. Now, we’re not one to judge anyone’s sexual activities — I mean, we do work for Bravo after all. But it seems Pace gave Schwartz $200,000 dollars between 2001 and 2004, which means he kept himself pretty busy with the Brown-haired beauty.
But what bothers us about this whole thing is this: Have you actually experienced the Kafkaesque hell of trying to get your cable modem repaired by Time Warner? Well, we have. In fact, we’re writing this from a Starbucks right now because our modem hasn’t been working for the last week, and Time Warner can’t seem to get it in gear to actually have the right repair person come out to our building. Maybe Mr. Time Warner should spend more time getting his customer service reps on the ball about how to actually SERVE CUSTOMERS rather than spending time and big money getting serviced, himself. Sorry, we just had to vent.

Death Tax Repeal Permanency Act of 2005–Motion to Proceed
Sen. Allen: “Mr. President, I rise to strongly endorse H.R. 8, the Death Tax Repeal Permanency Act of 2005 and urge my colleagues to vote for it. This has been brought up year after year for decades. I hope my colleagues will vote in favor of giving the death penalty to the death tax. It is an unfair tax. I like listening to all the different…”

Jun 6, 2006 – Senate Debate
Marriage Protection Amendment–Motion to Proceed
Sen. Warner: “The proposed constitutional amendment is simply two sentences. The first sentence reads that marriage in the United States shall only consist of the union of a man and a woman. This is a concept which I have consistently voted in support of–beginning with the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, and basically on this same constitutional amendment…”
